How are you billed for excursions?

We sail on Glory on Monday (eeek!) Still haven't decided if we'll explore NB & NS on our own or maybe do a ship excursion, but if we do decide to book something online thru Carnival, will we be billed immediately or do they wait till we've actually done the excursion? We have sailed Princess before and they basically just hold your spot and then bill you (on your onboard account) once you've gone on the excursion, whereas Celebrity billed us at the time of booking. I guess it doesn't really matter since we're so close to sailing, but just curious to know. Thanks!

If you book online then you must "checkout", causing you to pay for them online prior to cruising.

If you wait to book until you get on board the ship, they will be billed to your Sail and Sign (Sign and Sale?) account.

Enjoy your vacation!
