July 4 festivities on Caribbean Princess?

I thought that the buffet for the 4th last year was beautiful, but the counselors in the kids club told my daughter that most of it decorated cardboard and styrofoam & not edible

 

I was hoping that they would cut the big cake & serve it-I am sure someone enjoyed that!

I just suggested a meeting time/place on our roll call. I hope a few cc members see it before they leave. I'll ask the purser to announce it too. Good question about fireworks! My son turns 15 on 7/4 and will be disappointed that he won't get to see any this year! Oh well, I think the rest of the cruise will make up for it.

I guess thats why we didnt get any, I really thought maybe the crew got to eat it.
