Help me compare Infinity cabins

I am booking an outside cabin on the Jan. 22 Infinity Cruise from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso, Chile. There aren't many left-- in Cat. 4 and 5 they're all in the very front of the ship. In 6 (Deck 3) there is one about 1/3 back from the front, and in Cat. 7 (Deck 2) there are a bunch exactly midships. So here's the question-- how "bad" is it down on Deck 2 compared to Deck 3, and is being at midships worth going down one deck? That sailing is 'round the Cape and the Falklands, so rough seas are a possibility.

Also, let me thank those who answered my previous question about this itinerary. You've made me feel more comfortable with the cruise--knowing that there's no way of predicting whether we'll have calm or rough seas.

WE are booked in Cabin 8002 right across the hall from 8003 As far as I know they are both cat 4 extra large outside rooms! I wish they were CC.

Peg-- Right you and Rick are. These cabins are large for non-suite accomodations and right up front. Quite special. I hope you enjoy your cruise.

We love Deck 2!. Midship and further back is great. It's quiet and close to the elevator to all the food! The lower deck helps with motion as well. Hope you have a great cruise!

Thanks, Hancock. However, we seldom take the elevator. I believe (or should that be pretend) that climbing the stairs allows extra breadsticks--and we actually lost a pound or two on the Constellation, maybe from that additional exercise;).
