Botanic Gardens tour

Hi

We are on a Celebrity cruise arriving in George Town, Grand Cayman on Feb 12. We want to visit the Botanical Gardens. The ships tour visiting the gardens includes a motor cruise and swimming w. the dolphins, which we want to skip. Any suggestions on private tour companies?

Thanks

Tom:)

Easiest way is to rent a car and drive there. It's a fair ways out of town, so a rental car would give you more flexibility and peace of mind than trying to take a taxi. Most excursions that go there would probably combine it with other attractions along the way.

Thanks for the info. I read thru 4 pages of this Cayman board and found a tour company that goes there and skips stingray city. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Try Cayman Safari Adventures. We have a tour booked with them this November. The tour visits an east end beach, and stops for lunch. There are other places you can see, but we've asked to skip a few of them in favour of more time at the garden.

Thanks. That is the company that I am booking with. So far, only an auto reply.

If you are only going there, you should consider taking the bus. They are minivans, about a 4 block walk from the pier, are very inexpensive, and you will get to meet a few locals while riding.

Hi

Thanks. I have heard from Cayman Safari Adventures and have confirmed a tour w. them which includes the gardens plus Pedro St James and blow holes.
