Oasis - Cozumel Port Questions

Recommended Posts

Trying to plan a dive trip for the day in Cozumel...

1) Does the ship dock at the Punta Langosta Pier downtown or the International Pier south of town?

2) Cozumel is on Central time. Does the ship stay on Eastern time the whole week, or change?

Thanks!

Traditionally, ships always stayed on a single time zone (most traditionally, GMT). However, since people are generally stupid when they are on vacation, most cruise lines have since shifted and now adjust the time for whatever port they are in. This way the people (again, generally stupid when on vacation), don't get confused and miss the ship!

Change always possible but almost certainly:

1. International Pier.

2. Ship stays on Eastern Time for western carib itinerary.

Well then I guess that half of the humans I run across are on vacation no matter where I go....that's one strange coincidence.

Agreed, it was really maddening walking over to the other pier to Pancho's for a breakfast margarita and they were closed!!!!! We went back in the afternoon, though, so all was well.:D
