Looks like Celebrity still has Egypt on their itineraries for at least 3 of their Oct 2014 cruises.

 

Of course, I am looking at one of them - because I want the Israel portion of the itinerary.

 

I really do not see Egypt coming back on the Tourism radar anytime in the next few years. So very unfortunate.

 

What are your thoughts on when Celebrity will move Port Said & Alexandria off of their 2014 itineraries?

 

....and surely the situation in Egypt is effecting the bookings on these sailings.

Those cruises are a year away and the situation in Egypt is very fluid. The problems could very well be solved by then, so don't expect X to announce changes more than a month out.

I doubt if Egypt will be safe in the near future. The MB will resist the military.
