Does anyone know when booking will be available for Breakaway in 2015? I've seen other lines booking out that far already, and wondered if there was a typical schedule.

Not sure, but NCL might be planning a major overhaul in 2015 in order to keep all CC members happy. 6 more pools, 3000 more deck chairs, crew member cheerfulness training, free specialty restaurants, widening the hallways, and sophisticated cigarette smoke neutralizing technology around the casino area. Just a guess.

Yes, the 2014/2015 winter season is already bookable - as OP's chosen time was not bookable, it's after the end of the winter season of 2014 and becomes bookable around Dec.

Am I missing something in the OP's post, because I am not seeing anything about when and where in 2015 they want to sail on the Breakaway???

The press releases were around December 20th if i remember correctly. You can go to the old press releases in the media section of NCL's website

Sorry, I guess I should have specified that I was looking at August 2015. So far, it only looks like they're booking through Feb or March.
