Cabin choice on Century

We are looking to book a cruise on the Century but cannot find info on cabins. We usually book a balcony but all the balconies are above the casino. I am concerned about noise. I did notice there were ocean views forward on either deck 9 or 10 I think. I know there would be more movement but there are cabins above and below. Are the ocean views bad? We are looking at a cruise to China and Japan. I welcome any suggestions concerning cabins. Thank you.

Thanks to the advice of my TA, we have booked CC deck 9 midship. She said there can be a lot of movement and/or vibration on the century. She advised against Aft (vibration) and against the Century Suites which are just below the Sunset Lounge. Deck 10 is just below all the activity decks above. Do not know anything about the lower decks.

I have been scouring the deck plans and staterooms pictures on the Century. anyone have any advice about Cabins 1249-a sunset veranda or 1249 an ocean view which looks larger on the map than the dimensions indicate. Also on the SV one the deck seems to be the entire side of the cabin. Any positives or negatives of either of these? I know we will get more motion that high up and that much forward. I don't know about the waters around China and Japan if they are problematic, but I do know it is unpredictable. We are just trying not to rob the bank for this. Thanks.

As been said many times if movement is a problem stay away from the front or back (bow and stern for the nautical people) and low as possible. You will also get vibration in the stern. Granted some of the cabins are larger. We have a century cruise for 2/14 and took 1065 and previously were in 8136 before they added the balconies and had a great cruise. You will enjoy century.

I'm looking at deck plans and can't find the Sunset Lounge. Can someone tell me where that is? We booked 1026 on deck 10 but is below the Spa so surely noise won't be an issue. The motion doesn't bother me like music TOO loud would.
