majortom10 Posted August 31, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Just renewed our annual multi trip policy covering Europe with Insure and Go. Wife has high blood pressure and cholesterol and policy covering both of us was just over £140 for their Platinum policy with extra cruise cover on top of their normal cruise cover. Gittel Posted August 31, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2013 can anyone help please , I now have full blown sugar insulin dependant anyone know how it affects the cost thank you I'm not a diabetic but have seen the following tips :- A lot of travel policies include this cover as one of the accepted medical conditions with no additional excess. You'll just have to do a lot of googling try travel insurance with diabetis. You could try the Diabetic Society for suggestions.
Little Annie Posted August 31, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2013 can anyone help please , I now have full blown sugar insulin dependant anyone know how it affects the cost thank you I've just got a quote from World First for a worldwide annual policy, including USA/Caribbean, for hubby and myself of £170. I had breast cancer 4 years ago and have osteoporosis and we both have high blood pressure and all are covered. The only drawback I have found is that the cancellation cover is only £3000 pp but they can and will ask the underwriters if they will increase this on a case by case basis if required. Hope you get sorted. Ann
