I suspect a defnitive answer can only come from obtaining quotes. One Diabetes forum post suggests 215 pounds but ! Plenty of companies to chos from

My hubby has been insulin dependant for over 10 years and we use Insure & Go. Price for Ventura cruise 2014 comes in @ £107.00

Just renewed our annual multi trip policy covering Europe with Insure and Go. Wife has high blood pressure and cholesterol and policy covering both of us was just over £140 for their Platinum policy with extra cruise cover on top of their normal cruise cover.

I'm not a diabetic but have seen the following tips :-

 

A lot of travel policies include this cover as one of the accepted medical conditions with no additional excess. You'll just have to do a lot of googling try travel insurance with diabetis.

 

You could try the Diabetic Society for suggestions.

I've just got a quote from World First for a worldwide annual policy, including USA/Caribbean, for hubby and myself of £170. I had breast cancer 4 years ago and have osteoporosis and we both have high blood pressure and all are covered. The only drawback I have found is that the cancellation cover is only £3000 pp but they can and will ask the underwriters if they will increase this on a case by case basis if required.
