Juicermcurran Posted September 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2013 We have a party of 12 going on the Dec 7th sailing of the Liberty and we booked with a early dinner time. Just wondering if people in our group want to have dinner later than the whole gropu on a night or two will they be able to just go to the Dining room and get a table? Not sure if its in a seperate dining room or what. Never cruise with Carnival before. Thanks.
mrpayroll Posted September 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2013 You either pick EARLY, LATE or MTD. You cannot swing back and forth between them. :(
98Charlie Posted September 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2013 mrpayroll is correct. The only other options would be the buffet or a Steakhouse (usually you will need a reservation). Having said that, we just got back from the Conquest where we had early (6:00) seating. We saw people strolling in to our dining room up to 45 minutes after service had started and were served. Same thing on the Carnival Dream last November. IMO it's rude and inconsiderate toward the wait staff for a guest to do that. Charlie

If you are Early, there will be another group assigned to Late and vice versa. If some of your group show up well past your seating time, it will cause a disruption in the service and cause them to rush so the next seating can be seated.
