Does anybody know which Carnival ship offers drink packages that you pay for in advance. Someone told me that some of the Carnival ships offer this deal.

The only one I'm aware of that you can purchase on the Carnival website are the packages of 1 bottle of liquor and the mixers. They avg. about $80. The Cheers program can only be purchased on the ship the first or second day.

Is that the deal were u have to have a group of so many people, then sigh up for unlimited drinks for the entire cruise?

No just all persons of age in your cabin have to purchase it. Roughly 50$ per day limited to 15 drinks per day. Search cheers program on the boards here you will find tons of info.
