MsTabbyKats Posted October 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2013 This is all hypothetical....about the $200 OBC. Let's say you book an interior for $1500....and get a $200 OBC. The sale ends. Then next month you can book a balcony for $1600. If you pay the $100...and switch cabins....does the $200 credit go away? This would all be before final payment. I am assuming one would lose the credit...but, (hopefully) I could be wrong. Thanks..........

MsTabbyKats Posted October 13, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted October 13, 2013 The rules state that it is non-transferable. Read and see what you think. http://www.carnival.com/legal/specials-terms-conditions.aspx Thanks....I never saw that page before. In addition, paragraph 2 states "Cancellation penalties apply"....and the rep I spoke to a couple of days ago said that there wasn't a penalty as long at it was before final payment. Isa65 Posted October 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Unfortunately you will lose the OBC, since this is tied to your current fare. However, there could be another rate offer with OBC and if the price is right for you, you can have your booking re-fared and get the new OBC. All hypothetical, of course... Khloella Posted October 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2013 To piggy back off of this question. If we just get regular price drops though before final payment we wouldn't lose the OBC then right?

The price drop would have to be in the exact fare you booked. (example: National Cruise month) not from a different fare code.
