They will probably be removed by 1/19.

 

They come down the 1st/2nd cruise after New Years Day.

I seriously hope not. That is stretching it a bit I would think. I believe there is another name for the week you are going. Something like jersey week or something. I don't recall.

last year i was on the Miracle, embarking New Years Day....the decoration were all down by the end of the week.

with the way Christmas ads started weeks ago, they will probably start decorating for Christmas 2014 in February!

In many places the unwritten rule for holiday decorations is they are down by January 6(Epiphany). Though most will take them down by the 2nd.

 

You can put up any decor you wish on your cabin. Being the height of football season, maybe your favorite team?

Depends on where you are sailing from. If sailing out of San Juan, keep in mind that Christmas keeps going well past the Epiphany, The period is called Octavitas and traditionally people continue celebrating and they keep their Christmas decoration up until mid January. They also get another round of presents on Three Kings Day (Jan 6th). Don't forget to leave some hay and water next to your bed for the camels if you want some presents! :D

We typically sail early Jan, (4-8th) and have never seen the Xmas decorations up.
