How does OBC work?

I see they are offering OBC but how does it work? I remember a couple of years ago a similar offer, seems you had to send in all your receipts and they would credit your credit card. I wonder if you can get an advance on your Sea card at the Casino and that they would consider that an on board purchase.

I don't recall any such scheme on Celebrity.

 

OBC can be used for any purchases on board, from gift shops to shore excursions to bingo cards. Casino withdrawals incur a 5% fee.

If you are speaking of the 123GO promo, when you check in and board the ship, your bill will show a credit of $300... from there your purchases will be deducted until you reach $0, then they will be on your credit card as actual charges. Hope this makes sense;)
