Recent Ecstacy Cruisers: Cash S&S Deposit?

Rec'd my cruise docs and they stated no cash deposit on Sign and Sail card that you had to use a credit card. However, in the Carnival cruise brochure it states you can you cash but a $200 deposit is required. Any recent Ecstacy cruisers use cash? If so, was their a minimum cash deposit required?

i was told the cash deposit is fine! my TA said just don't fill out the CC section on our SS card and go to the pursers desk to put down the cash amount! NOT sure about a certian amount required... but i think a 5 day is 200 pp if the person on the card is allowed to charge! which is WHY i won't activate my Daughters card.... plus shes 7!

GREAT!! I was skimming through my docs last night making sure CCL was like RCCL and came across the S&S card. I didn't know who to call and I refuse to call my TA after the huge fiasco w/ her. THanks again.

Just got off the Ecstacy on Monday, one of our party did do a cash deposit, no problem
