options for changing ship

Short of it....booked on The Sunshine for 1\19\2014

Is it possible to switch ships this late in the game? What are we looking at for penalties? We are booked past guest rate I think. Something unexpected came up and we are thinking of going to Florida instead.

We still want to take a cruise, but friends are going to be in Florida same time and we haven't seen them in years. Just trying to make seeing them before our cruis. They cant go to NOLA unfortunately.

You won't get all of your money back from Carnival, but you might get some of it. Call them as soon as you can to see. It's a percentage thing, depending on how far out you cancel.

I just called them...I was surprised to find them open after 9 p on Sunday. It is possible, but depending on the ship and category cabin dictates my penalty. Thanks!
