STL2 0r St08 St Johns excursion ???

which one of these is the better way to go all inclusive to spend the most time at the beach? has anyone done either or? please explain thnx

St. John Ultimate Island & Nat'l Park Beaches STO8

Both will give you about the same amount of time on the beach. STL2 gives you a small tour of the island from the water while ST08 does the same on land. With the former, you'd need to take taxis to and from Trunk Bay, and pay your entry fee, while with the latter you'd only need to pay for you taxi back to the ferry.

Since stl2 involves other tour groups there may be more queues and delays, not sure. And since you want the ship excursion - or AI experience - you're sacrificing beach time on STJ by not going on a self-excursion. But if the AI option is more important than beach time I would select stl2 for a bit more flexibility.
