On our recent Nautica cruise we upgraded cabins just after final payment and received an additional $300 in OBC, free gratuities and free internet. The perks added when we upgraded our cabin more than offset the cost of the upgrade, so we actually paid less, all costs included, for a better cabin. Thanks Oceania!!!

Some of the new promotions are for veranda cabins & up

 

Of course changing to a different cat ...it would be an available Cabin cat that would kick in the new perks

If you have paid a deposit and O adds an additional perk before or after final payment, would one still qualify for it if it wasn't originally listed at time of booking?

 

Definitely YES!! We booked our cruise last year for this February and when we booked there were no OBC perks. Well, the cruise wasn't selling, and the OBC went from $300 all the way up to $1000 (with increments in between). And free Internet for everyone! And also know that if the price of the cruise goes DOWN, you will get the discounted fare. It happened to us a few cruises ago when the economy wasn't so good. Oceania lowered the prices considerably, and all of us who booked were able to get that lowered fare. Arlene;)
