Glory Cat 8A upper bunk/sofa bed

Can anyone give me more specific details as to what the 8A balcony cabin sleeping arrangements are? The cabin we have booked is a true quad and sleeps 4: king bed (or 2 twins), upper bunk and sofa bed? Where does the bunk come down from? How long is the sofa bed? My son is 6 ft tall and hope this will be OK for him.

The upper folds out of the wall (on some classes it is the ceiling). The sofa will be okay for your son. My son is 6ft 11 and he had no problem.

If I remember correctly..it is over the sofa.

Wow! I did not expect it to be there. At least there won't be any "bumps" in the night, of our heads, that is, on that upper. Thank you so much!!!:D I love these boards!!!!!!

sofa bed is like a futon--the back comes off and they make the bed up (there are 2 drawers under the sofa for storage.-never noticed this til my last cruise)

You are right about those drawers Serene..And they hold a lot..I missed them also the first time,,but last cruise on the Pride we used them

AHH, hILL- So the upper bed is located ontop of the sofa.

Was there enough room to sit on the sofa with the bed down or does one bang their head?

 

our upper bed was located above the beds.. we had an inside cabin.

You can sit on the couch without bumping your head. They fold it up into the ceiling during the day and bring it down during the night turndown.
