Zip-lining Footwear?

We will zip-line with Victor Bodden next week, at Mayan Jungle Canopy.

 

Does anyone know if we need to wear sneakers? Are sports sandals ok, so they won't fall off?

 

I searched, and can't find any info on this.

I don't know Victor Bodden's specific rules for ziplining, but most zipline operators require shoes with a closed toe. Have fun!

I think my husband wore sport sandals (Teva). I wore my sneakers and was glad I did, just for the amount of climbing involved. We did Pirates Extreme.

there is quite a bit of walking and climbing involved. i was somewhat surprised by this although it wasn't bad. i was, however, very glad i was wearing tennis shoes since they provide much better support.

I zipped somewhere else but was glad I wore tennis shoes.
