Luggage Valet help with Delta Airlines

Recommended Posts

We used it on Oasis last month. It was so easy and worth it.

I have a Skymiles Amex with the first checked bag free. There is a place at the bottom of the luggage valet form to note whether you have free bag privileges.

It went flawlessly. Our bag tags and boarding passes were in our room on Friday afternoon and we were not charged for the checked bags, just the normal luggage valet fee.

Great and thanks for your help-hopefully, I can check my DH in too, his reservation is linked with mine and I have the cc that allows up to 9 people linked to my reservation to get their first bag free.

You should be good. We have the same setup and both of our bags were free.

Have fun!

The RCI luggage valet service is a separate RCI charge (which is $20 pp in standard staterooms, but free in GS's and higher) and does not include the charges an airline may charge for luggage.

The arrangement you have with the airline regarding baggage fee waiver is not connected to or as a result of using the RCI luggage valet service. Regular airline baggage fees would apply otherwise.

Directly from the RCI luggage valet program description on the form provided on board: "Baggage fees imposed by the airlines still apply. Please see the reverse side of form for applicable Airline Baggage Fees".

From the website, it looks like it is only available in:

•Fort Lauderdale

•Port Canaveral

•Miami

•Seattle

•Seward

Thank you - it was so great to use in Port Canaveral I was disappointed that it wasn't available other places. If only I was taking the Northbound cruise instead of the Southbound...

Yeah, its great. We hadn't used it in years before Oasis last month. I can't believe we have been lugging those bags all these years!
