Zuiderdam-Virgin Islands Sailway

[The Cruise Advantage]

With the Zuiderdam docking in Tortola at 8AM and the Virgin Islands Sailway tour leaving at 8:15, has anyone had a problem making the tour, have any been cancelled, or have they left later? Any information is appreciated.

I am assuming this is a ship excursion.

 

You will be told where to meet. It could be in a lounge and everyone leaves the lounge together with a crew member leading the group or possibly at the dock. Someone could be there with a sign.

 

If the ship docks a little late, it will be handled by Hal. You won't miss your excursion as long as you follow the instructions. The insturctions on where to meet will be delivered to your cabin.

TheCruiseAdvantage .... It will NOT be a problem! We had exactly the same situation on Veendam in January -- ship arrived at 8 AM with The Virgin Island Sailaway excursion leaving at 8:15.

 

It's just as gizmo described: You'll be given full instructions on where to meet (in a lounge) and then taken to the shore excursion -- no worries or problems for you! :cool:

Absolutely no problem last week on the Zuiderdam. We took the excursion to the Baths and the boat that we got on was docked right down from the Z.
