The Noordam Art Tour

I was on HAL 's site and read about the self guided art tour. Is that something you can download before you leave home, or do you need one of the ship's iPads?

If anyone has downloaded it, do you happen to know if it's iOS only, or are there different versions?

I have downloaded the ones from Rotterdam and Noordam, they both play on regular computers and on IOS (IPAD), but I still chose to borrow the MP3 player on board to do the tour.

We have done the Noordam tour and it was very nice and informative.

Where did you find the tour file for download?

It's just one static cover image, audio only. I had a heck of time finding this one when I downloaded. The other HAL ship art tours I downloaded show up in my Audiobooks on iTunes while this one is under Podcasts.

I enjoy the tours and always learn a lot.

Thank you so much. I have an Android phone & I wanted to make sure the Audio Book app wasn't missing anything that would display on an iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc. We're kind of excited about this; especially my brother in law who is quite the art geek.

Don't bother with the download Just go the library and pick up an iPod, it is pre loaded with the art tour file. We have done the tour on several ships, it is a great way to spend a sea day. Call the library first, make sure the librarian will be there, as they have very infrequent hours.

Thank you, but I already put it on my phone. Now, instead of just walking around looking at stuff, I can walk around looking at stuff with headphones.
