bluesea777 Posted February 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2014 Twice, we were on cruise during the Halloween week, and both times the ship was decorated just on Halloween day only.
Studebaker59 Posted February 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2014 On the Norwegian Jewel in 2012, many people decorated their cabin doors for Halloween, and wore costumes as well. The children also paraded in costumes, made on the ship, or brought from home. Fun! This cruise was during Superstorm Sandy. The captain did a great job. Rare BSR Posted February 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2014 We were on the Breakaway last year for Halloween and the atrium and other places around the ship were decorated. There was a costume party in the theater and I was surprised that so many people were in costumes. Also they had a haunted house that you could go thru. It was fun. The OP was asking if the ship would be decorated for Halloween a week before the event. So please state if it is so, or just on Halloween day. Cheers. . It's still early enough to change .... if the kids really want to be on ship for Halloween please can you see if you can change. NCL goes all out for Halloween and allows the staff to dress up or put makeup on. And the events that they lay out for the day are really good fun. The Casino Staff win the first prize dressing up!! Very festive and we were so surprised each time - there are really good costumes!

Very festive and we were so surprised each time - there are really good costumes! We were on the Jewel one year for halloween, and it was HORRIBLE. It coincided with a local school break, and they couldn't handle the amount of kids. The stairwells leading up to the kids club was jammed, and they just had to bail. My kids were still glad to be on a cruise, but did miss TOTing at home - no candy for them.
