When we lived in your state we had a really bad winter like you are having. Can't be exact on the year, around 1993-1996. In the middle of it all, we had an earthquake. It was a weird winter for sure. Sorry again you are missing nice weather and your cruise.

I think you are correct on the Standard plan, but the Platinum one covers it.

We were told that HAL's Platinum Insurance is only available to US and Canadian citizens. Great pity.

We were scheduled to fly on Friday for a Sunday cruise.

It would not have made any difference how early we had planned on flying down to Tampa.

All flights out of Pittsburgh to Atlanta began to be cancelled on Tuesday!!

 

That really sucks (a very descriptive term). Sometimes there is just not much you can do but cry...and it sounds like you had one of those situations.:eek:

Oh dear, so sorry to hear you had to cancel. I sure hope things get better for you, weather-wise. This has been a horrible winter for much of the US and Canada.
