With a temperature of 102 your friend should check with his Doctor - chances are he's infections and can affect others. He can't be feeling that great either! Hopefully he has insurance and will be in the clear.

Heard from my friend - he decided not to get on board. He is fine but did not want to chance getting worse on-board. As we all said - health is more important than any cruise.

He did the passengers on the ship a great favor, IMO. I hope he's back to 100% real soon so he can reschedule that cruise.
