Pre-order internet minutes, where do you see that acknowledged?

Hi there!

 

I preordered one of the internet packages using the fax form - because my company is paying for this, of course I need a receipt, but I can't find any acknowledgement on my Cruise Personalizer. Any idea where to look, if there is any before I get on the ship?

I just experienced this situation when gifting myself casino credit & not receiving a confirmation and it's not in the Cruise Personalizer. I see my credit card charge so called them about a confirmation. The Princess rep said it shows in my reservation & I requested an email confirmation which I quickly received. Call their toll free number (800-PRINCESS) and any rep can send it to you. :)

 

On the order form they have our email & should automatically email us a confirmation in case it's not in our shipboard folio account. :(

That's what I expected, to be honest, and even put a note on the fax cover sheet asking for an email to my manager. Thank you for the suggestion, I will give them a call!

Princess does a poor job sending confirmations for such purchases or OBC for things like military or shareholder credits. Both of those are now viewable in the CP but before that was possible it required calling them to request a confirmation. I know friends who were glad to have their confirmation email when it wasn't transmitted to the ship so they could get it issued.

If you are entitled to extra wifi minutes - FREE minutes via a package [buy 100 minutes, get 10 FREE]. You have to go to the wifi area and have the manager add these minutes to your account. It is NOT done automatically.

I seem to remember getting a separate email after I called to order the package. I wish there was some information about the procedure though as it caused some confusion when my daughter went to the Internet Cafe the first time and was told we had to basically purchase the package and then get it refunded (or something like that). It should have been more seamless, but if the instructions were listed on my receipt, that would have been fine knowing that before the cruise.
