Cuban restaurant

Looking for good cuban restaurant in Miami, we are staying at Hampton blue lagoon. We will be driving there so we can drive to the restaurant but would prefer one within walking distance.

We have eaten at Padrino's and really enjoyed it. There is one near Hollywood beach in Hallandale I believe. There may be other locations. Worth the cab ride. Lots of locals eat there which is always a good sign. The Piccadillo was very savory & hubby loved the churrasco.

Taxi fare from Blue Lagoon to Hallandale would be at least $50-$60 each way.

 

Versailles Restaurant is the most famous Cuban Restaurant in Miami and it's about 4 miles from the Blue Lagoon area. There's really not much of any kind of restaurants within walking distance in Blue Lagoon.

Versailles is great and near your hotel; within walking distance (across the street) from your hotel is a local Chinese, a local Italian place, and a local Cuban spot that had not so good reports from the health inspectors over a year ago. :eek:
