Mine was the Inspiration...so that ship still holds a special place in my heart!

I hate to say it but Jubilee was my first in 2001.It really almost scared me from cruising.It's a long story so im not going to get into that,lol.Just really hated that ship it was miserable on it.

 

But luckly i went on a cruise later on in that same year on soveriegn of the seas, rccl and loved it.Had a much better experience on that ship and that is what kept me coming back to crusing.

The 1st CCL ship my DH and I cruised on was the FESTIVAL back in 1989. It was a lovely ship with so many lounges and venues to hear music and relax in. Back in 'those days' CCL remodeled older ships for their first cruise ships. I remember our cabin steward telling us that CCL's newest ship (at that time) was the Tropicale and we should cruise on her next. But it was many years later....until we were able to cruise again.

REALLY?!!! So was the Festivale CCL's 1st ship? That sure is a long time ago and we sailed on her in 1989. I knew she was one of the 'oldest' ships in CCL's fleet but had no idea that the Fesitvale dated back to the '70s. How interesting!!D:D
