Hi :)

Just a PS to my original post here:

During our last Carnival cruise my wife & I were aboard the Splendor

for a 16-day back to back voyage, May/June 2013.

We are waiting for the Carnival Breeze itineraries to be released because

we want do a back to back voyage on that ship next.

However, this back to back itinerary aboard the Splendor during

May/June 2015 is a bit tempting...

May 24........New York

May 25........Sea Day

May 26........Sea Day

May 27........Sea Day

May 28........St Thomas

May 29........St Kitts

May 30........Antigua

May 31........St Maarten

June 1..........Puerto Rico (Turnaround Day)

June 2..........St Kitts

June 3..........Antigua

June 4..........St Thomas

June 5..........Sea Day

June 6..........Grand Turk

June 7..........Sea Day

June 8..........Sea Day

June 9..........New York

:)

Carnival had the same exact itinerary planned for the Splendor in 2014...October 24th and November 1st. So I booked it. Then Carnival changed the 2nd leg to end in Miami rather than back to NY...which resulted in a Jones Act violation ...so they cancelled my cruise.

I'm skeptical now that they will do the same thing here...

But It does look very tempting!

Hi cv322 :)

Original poster here. My wife & I also had the exact back to back voyage

booked as well for February 2015 out of NY and was cancelled when they

decided to do only seasonal sailings out of NY and move the Splendor to Miami

in November 2014.

I am also a lil' skeptical in regards to the May 24 to June 9, 2015 back to back

itinerary, however I am also tempted because we had the voyage previously

booked. I hope the itinerary holds up.

Here is my cancellation letter... My heart sank when I received it. :(

The Splendor bounces around like a spalding.Just be careful booking far out.

I know, we were booked on the San Juan to New York cruise (before they decided to move it to Miami) and they cancelled it on us. Luckily we didn't purchase airfare yet.
