If I drink my wine in the cabin......do I have to pay the corkage fee. reading the policy I interpret it to be no!

Ask your room steward for some wine glasses; pour some and walk around the ship, take it to the dining room. Doesn't matter.

Thanks...I am glad that my interpretation is correct. Bringing wine onboard on NCL is a fee regardless of where you drink it!

To avoid any corkage fee just don't bring the bottle to any venue that serves alcohol. By the glass anywhere is fine.

I suggest you bring your own corkscrew. We bought a cheap travel one just for use in the room ( just make sure it isn't in your carry on!)

Yep, two per stateroom (assuming one person in the room is over 21).

You will want your wine in your carry on. They will stop you and make you sign the wine in (takes 2 minutes) then send you on your way.

 

Edit: Carry on to the ship, not an airplane.

 

Wine in your bags you give to the Porters may end up in the naughty room

Yes they do. Two bottles per stateroom if you are 21 or older.
