I am about to book this excursion through Peat Taylor to irie blue hole. Do any of you know what the heights are on the cliff jumps? I've see. Youtube videos of guides jumping from 25-30 feet with a running start and I was wondering if they let tourists do that as well. Thanks

Yep! It's pretty high. You don't get to run and jump, just jump.

If you  do it, come back & post on it! :) We took a tour with him back in 2011 and loved it. We did the falls & the tubing. We plan on using him again and going to different places.

No, they don't let the tourists jump from where the guides at the falls do.

There are lower ones the tourists jump from.

We can't wait to go this week to the Blue Hole! We are booked with Libertytoursjamaica with our group because of great recommendations on this CC forum and Trip Advisor. Everyone has great things to say about Ricardo and I know why. He has called us twice already in preparation of our tour this week to make sure we know where to meet, and if we have any concerns. We are really looking forward to this tour to the Blue Hole!:):):):)

We were just there this month. I'm terrible at estimating heights, but if the big one the guides do is 30 feet, most of them for the tourists are 10 feet. My husband did one that was abt 20 feet, but I took the smaller option. We had a blast!

Was there 4/16/14. Had a great time.

They don't let you jump from the middle of the big fall that the guides are doing. You can jump from the side which has two choices, around ten feet and further down by the rope swing is a twenty foot as already stated, but looks much higher when you are the one standing there....

Thank you for all the replies!! That picture really puts everything into perspective. Is that the 20ft jump? We are leaving on our first cruise ever this Sunday and can't wait to get to the blue hole.

That photo was taken from the top of the large waterfall. The guides will steadily hold on to you while walking you half way down, then let you know when to jump. Have a great time!
