neck pillows

Just wondering if people use neck pillows and if they help? Leaving Sunday on a 10 hr. 41 min. flight from Chicago to Honolulu. I'm hoping to maybe buy one to help me sleep on the plane.

I have found that it helps tremendously. But I have to turn it with the opening in the back. Otherwise it pushes my chin down on my chest and does no good. I am a shorty.

We also use the neck pillows for our 24 hr drive to Florida. They work wonders.

I do the exact same thing. I have the pillow part under my chin, and the opening in the back. Otherwise, my head flops forward when I fall asleep, and it wakes me up. I have an inflatable one, so I can shove it in my bag, instead of carrying it around.

 

I don't think height has anything to do with it...I'm tall. :D:):D

We seem to be in the minority. The rest of the world seems to put the opening under their chins. I just invested in a good quality inflatable for upcoming transatlantic trip.

I think our answers were better. :cool: I guess some people can sleep with a lump behind their neck, and floppy chin. But I can't. Especially since you can't really recline your seat anymore. But whatever works for flight or driving comfort. :D:):D

My thinking is that for a few bucks, you could risk it and see for yourself it it helps or not. Better to have something and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
