Breakaway pool

We're leaving next Sunday on the breakaway. Is it safe to assume the pools won't be open when we board?? Trying to figure out if I need to pack kids swim suits in my carry on. It's been so cold lately and it'll probably only be in the 60's when we leave. Thanks

I cruised in mid May and the pools were open when we boarded.

They'll be open. We just got back yesterday (sailed 4/20) and it was sunny but quite cool that day -- pools were still open. I'd pack them just in case (or have them wear them underneath!). You know they'll want them. ;)

When my boys were small we always wore our bathing suits under coverups when boarding so they could hit the pools right away.

Now, we just put our suits in our carry on bags.

BTW, the pools on Breakaway are heated.

So I hear, but last Saturday in the Haven the water was too cool for my taste, I had to stick to the hot tub! And this was on a day with the roof closed so it was quite hot inside ... just didn't make it to the water!
