Molsykins Posted May 4, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Not sure if this is is in right area to be posted! Just wondering if it's ok to put a small travel Cot up by the sun loungers by the pools? As 9 month is crawling and it would contain them! I'm sure I've seen the odd person in the past do this?
kersh Posted May 4, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Can't see why not. You would have to get up very early though to move the sunbeds around to get enough space for it. It is a really good idea especially if you can fit a sunshade over it as well.
Rare Host Sharon Posted May 4, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2014 I guess it would depend on the ship and whether or not it would block access across the deck. Better to ask P&O direct.
Morgans Posted May 4, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2014 If you can find a suitable place to put it I can't see why it would be a problem. The main problem would be carrying it up there in the first place from the cabin as they sometimes can be a bit awkward. P & O are excellent for babies and we can recommend the baby playroom where you can go each day and also the night nursery which worked really well for my daughter and her 11 month baby. They also were able to provide a baby bath and a steriliser if required. The cabin steward used to wash the bottles in the dishwasher which was very helpful. richleeds Posted May 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Space for sun loungers is usually at a premium if the ship is full so I guess if you can find a way to position it that doesn't use this valuable space then it should be ok.
wilson2579 Posted May 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2014 mmmm the pool areas are usually jam packed with sun loungers very close together, so good luck. There are some quieter areas on most ships but wouldn't be near the pools.
Molsykins Posted May 4, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Thanks all. I went on Azura to the Fjords a couple of years ago when my eldest was9 months then, but wasn't warm enough for the pool area! So can't remember the spare spaces! Think we'll give it a go... We'll soon find out if it causes problems!
