Magic at the pier in galveston

Just wondering if those who have sailed recently on Magic if the ship docks with the Port or Starboard side against the pier?

 

I am looking at a cove balcony and would prefer to be on the water side when docked. Last time we went out of Galveston (Triumph) we didn't get a balcony and had to watch the "doping show" from the upper decks.

 

Please include your sail date in case people are posting different responses. That way I can tell which are the most current.

It can be either.

Sometimes the ship turns and backs in at the pier. Other times she turns on departure.
