Can a PH Bed be separated?

Can a PH bed be separated in to two twins? With the wall of glass it doesn't look possible.

We recall that the bed was split into two twins, but there wasn't space to walk between them.

The beds have a side table on each side when configured as one. When the beds are separated one of the side tables goes between the beds. There should still be room between the bed and wall but it will be narrower.
