Questions about Epic in Mediterranean

My wife and I are doing the Epic this summer for a 7 day cruise after an 8 day land package. When we get on the ship in Rome we will desperately need laundry done. Does anyone know what day is the laundry special on the Epic in the Mediterranean. I have called NCL and no one knows.

Hi,

I just got off of the Epic and had a fabulous time. We got on in Barcelona and I believe we left our laundry on the bed the morning we got off the ship in Rome. I would think when you board,if it is not too late, you could get a bag, however you probably will not get it back until Saturday.

I am pretty sure that it is towards the end of the cruise on most ships. We did a 7 day on the GEM and it was never offered (or we missed it). The normal price for laundry service on board we found pretty steep. You may be better off finding a laundry service in Rome to get your laundry prior to boarding.

Your laundry will be indeed gone for two days, if I recall correctly, if you manage to get the special and if offered that day.

 

Is the sink and some washing powder picked up in Rome an option for the small laundry, that would dry in a day?
