Hotels Near Port of Miami

Leaving next month on a cruise leaving out of Miami and need a hotel for the night before the cruise leaves. I'm not too familiar with the area and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for hotels either near the port or offer some type of free shuttle to the port. Not picky just somewhere clean and maybe restaurants near. $100/ night or lower? Thanks.

I would post this on the Florida Departures Board. This question comes up one or more times a day.

 

Price might be a challenge.

 

Be sure to note what month as in the winter season prices are considerably higher than in the summer.

There is also a Search function within that board so you can search for a certain hotel if you want; also check tripadvisor.com for reviews.

I suggest you use 2 websites to compare. Hotels and Hotwire if you do it right in your search criteria you can pretty much figure out in the secret hotels on hotwire what hotel you'll be at. I just did a search on Hotels and the Courtyard by Marriott was $119
