Alcoves/Deck Chairs on Celebrity Summit

Can someone help me? I can't seem to get a correct answer on the availability of alcoves on the Summit. I would love to book one for the "at sea" days for my august trip but can't find them online and the customer service rep is unsure if they have them.

 

If they don't, what's the deck chair situation on board? I have never sailed with Celebrity and am dreading the thought of a deck chair scavenger hunt every day!

There are not any alcoves on Summit. They very recently supplied new deck chairs on the pool deck, after many complaints about the condition of the old ones. So naturally, there are those who hate the new chairs & those who like them . But at least they are new! Summit is like just about every other ship at sea; on sea days chairs can be hard to find, at least in prime locations, & port days have plenty.since you mentioned August, chairs will be harder to find on sea days dur to the larger number of families on board.

I don't know anything about alcoves - I am not sure what that is, actually. I can tell you that the deck chair situation by the pool was indeed a scavenger hunt - this was my biggest complaint about my recent trip on the Summit. There were plenty of chairs, however, available on the upper forward deck - go up one level from the pool and then up another level at the front of the ship. This was a nice, relaxing place to sun and read - lovely!

Summit does not have The Alcoves so that is why you can't find anything

about them online. The only ships that offer them are Sihlouette and Reflection.
