The only access to the second floor (deck 12) is by way of a staircase inside the CL.

Interesting note, my DW is slightly handicapped and cannot do stairs. We wanted to attend the Chefs table which is on the second floor of the concierge lounge.

 

They took her to deck 12 and came in through a crew only access door which allowed her to get to the Chefs table.

I was going to add that CREW can enter on 12......I am so glad to hear how they used this to accommodate you!

 

I have heard that they are moving the Chef's Table OUT of the CL. More than "just a rumor. "
