TrinaLC Posted August 13, 2005 #26 Share Posted August 13, 2005 We did it a few weeks later towards the end of july and it was cold, foggy and rainy. we still had a great time, but I wouldn't do a Canada trip again.
TITISSA Posted August 13, 2005 #27 Share Posted August 13, 2005 TITISSA: I think I was on the same cruise to Canada that you were on in 2004. I was on the Victory and it was a bit chilly and it was 4th of July weekend! Don Hi Don, that was the one. I was so depressed with all the fog around me that I never want to go back to Canada again. I didn't care for St. John or Halifax. It wasn't a good cruise in my opinion. On the other hand, this 4th of July we went on the QM2 to Newport, RI for 3 nights only and back to NY to see the fireworks and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! I think the problem is Canada. With all due respect! I'm off tomorrow on the Dawn. I think we'll have some rough waters ... :(
dongordon Posted August 13, 2005 Author #28 Share Posted August 13, 2005 You may have some rough waters the first night, but hopefully by Monday, things will be better. If you get a chance, give us a report from the Dawn and have a great cruise. We will be on the Dawn on August 28th...two weeks from tomorrow!
