antsnanny Posted August 15, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 15, 2014 We haven't been on NCL since 2012 now and we are still getting the invites as well as calls from a CAS rep, who is very nice. I was surprised to get the Bermuda golf tourney invite this year, too bad I don't golf, it looked like a sweet comp. Sailing in November on the Sky in a comped aft-balcony compliments of CAS. Wow ! I am wondering if I will get an inside cabin based on our play.. I think thy combine myself and my husband.. Do you have to play a lot to get an aft balcony? Hoping of for a balcony... Always Cruising Posted August 15, 2014 #27 Share Posted August 15, 2014 To Birdnutty: the casino points (unlike Latitudes points) expire after a certain period - it used to be longer, but now seems to be 1.5-2 years.
Rare Birdnutty Posted August 16, 2014 #28 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Thanks for the info. I guess I'm just too conservative a player to qualify for anything. And the amount I'd have to gamble would be more than the amount I'd be paying for the room anyway, so I guess it won't work for me. It would be different if I won once in awhile, but those machines know how to suck me dry in an instant without much of a return. Just not very lucky when it comes to gambling. Crusin-Suzan Posted August 16, 2014 #29 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Not sure if this is on topic.. was wondering if anyone has experience with a partner that plays about the same as themselves and have been able to get two rooms, one under each player. We are hoping to bring our neices on our next trip and would like them in their own room. TIA Brad I think you would. As long as u both received the offer. One books with one niece and the other books a cabin with the other niece!!! That's very nice of you. Just got off the Getaway today with CAS. Second time on the ship. Love it!!! bradship Posted August 17, 2014 #30 Share Posted August 17, 2014 Thanks, Sue. My first cruise was from a Caesars certificate. The small print on that was no two rooms but could combine certs and get upgraded. I just discovered the family ocean view on breakaway so that's an option we are considering also. No idea if they track that, check it or enforce it. (this is different than combining 2 certs for a higher category)
