When can we expect luggage tags ?

Hello, we sail in 44 more days and were just wondering when or if we receive our tags ? Do they automatically send them to you or do I have to call? I didn't see anything on the cruise documentation about them. Thanks in advance !

Your cruise "documents" (in reality a little booklet with your luggage tags included) typically arrive 30-45 days out. If you used a TA, it may go there first.

If for some reason you don't get the tags (booking last minute or just an error) or you need more, they can take care of it at the port. It was no issue at all. Of course if your sending your bags straight from the plane or from WDW I'm not sure how this would work.

If, for some reason, you don't receive your baggage tags before you depart for your cruise/trip, you will have to pick up your bags at baggage claim in the airport yourself and take them to the DCL transportation desk (if that's how you are traveling). You can turn over the bags there to be transported to the ship (getting the tags at the DCL desk) and to your room.

If for some reason you don't get the tags, no worries. The only situation that chances even a little is if you are flying into MCO the day of the cruise and using DCL transportation. ANY other transportation situation will remain the same and the tags can be added by bell services at any WDW resort or by the porters at the cruise terminal.

IF you fly in on the day of your cruise and have DCL transportation and no Disney tags on the bags, claim the bags yourself at baggage claim and take the to the DIsney Welcome Center (lower level, terminal B) where tags will be applied and you'll be sent to a bus.

They are like airline luggage tags--the kind you use once, remove and throw away. They are color coded to indicate where you are going (cruise as opposed to WDW) and bar coded with your name and cabin info. DO NOT WORRY if you change cabins for any reason--they are coded and will find you.

They won't go into any holder.

Oh but they do.

The holders come in at least two sizes. We have used them on other lines.

They are also available from many other online sources.

Schmoo - Thanks, looks like the narrow size.
