Luggage delivery

For those of you who have stayed in the Queens Grill, have you received your luggage before dinner time on the day of embarkation? I'm just trying to decide if I should carry on my son's and husband's jackets or if they will be fine in our suitcases.

You should get them really quickly, just make sure your labels are really secure. We were in QG on QV and one of the labels came off. We got the butler on the job straight away.

If you are on the Q.V. From Southampton, Boarding starts from Noon & your Luggage should be in your room about 2 hours later, Plenty of time to Eat/unpack & attend Boat Drill & Sailaway as the Grills have flexible Dinning.

The fastest luggage delivery was in Southampton two months ago. We were travelling in Britannia and arrived at the Ocean Terminal at 11:20 and we were in our stateroom just after 12:00 and the two cases were there.

 

The slowest delivery was in Brooklyn, travelling Princess Grill. We arrived at the terminal about 11:00 and the luggage didn't reach our stateroom until about 4:30.

 

The two times we were travelling in Queen's Grill the "priority" luggage arrived after lunch.

Thank you very much! Yes, we are traveling from Southampton. We board a week from today and are very much looking forward to our voyage.

I would not dare to embark without a decent blazer/jacket. The embarkation photos of the board photographers are on display throughout the entire journey. Beware of the fashion police!:D

The cases are usually there waiting for us when we embark, but occasionally, we go to lunch before they've all arrived. They are there though when we get back.
