Can do. We were watching a cruise (not P&O) with an on-line company in March for December this year. Day before Cruise Fair checked price and then went and spoke with Rep at the show asking if they could either match or better the price. They bettered it!

We went a few years ago on our way down to Southampton for hotel stay before going on a cruise. Glad we were passing because it was absolute rubbish and would never go again.
