We want to sail on the Oct. 19th Dream Cruise and the ship is currently full. We have been added to a wait list, and are currently number 5 on the list. We have agreed to any cabin that comes available. What do you think our chances are of getting a cabin? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

You agreed to any cabin? Even a suite? Yikes! Did they tell you how much you would have to pay for each cabin type? (Maybe price doesn't matter to you.)

 

We once had to cancel a cruise 2 days before sailing and we had a suite.

A suite ?!?! They didn't mention that. We paid a refundable deposit and they will call us in the event a cabin becomes available and we have the option to accept it or not. I would probably have to pass on the suite unless it was really cheap !! Thanks everyone ! I'll let you know how it goes.

When did you try to book it? If it was too close to the sail date that may be the reason.

Just tried to book it yesterday. DH won a seat in the poker tournament when we were on the Dream in May. He just decided yesterday that he wants to go, and now ship is full.

 

We have some nice casino offers that we will consider if the Dream doesn't work out for us.

Confusing update : called Carnival this morning and told we were now up to number 4 on the list. Called back this afternoon and was told we are now number 1 on the list !!! Called back tonight and they are now saying we are number 9 on the list ? So confused.... But still hopeful !!
