  2. Me too, me too. Happy sailing (some day)
  3. Today is a sad day. And to anyone thinking this could be a April Fools day prank jimbo5544 might be posting about here is a screenshot of the Carnival page. Thank jimbo5544 for posting!
  4. it is important to know, it is not a full FCC it is a FCC up to 100% of the original cruise fare plus $500. If you new cruise fare is less than that amount Carnival will keep the remaining amount. I am attaching a confirmation of this fact (confirmed both by Carnival Twitter account and facebook account of JH)
  5. Although they delayed, the communication to staff says a plan is being delivered today.
  6. Yes, Carnival https://www.carnival.com/health-and-sailing-update
  7. The cancelled cruises are given up until the end of 2022 on Carnival. If RCL is only giving until the end of 2021, then the congested bookings, in theory, will not be as bad on Carnival. The FCC on Carnival are good for sailings that have not been released yet. the attached photo is a screen shot of what is being offered to cancelled cruises found on the Carnival website. https://www.carnival.com/health-and-sailing-update
  8. I know what you are talking about. Similar situation and believe that our cruise is going to be cancelled. Definitely seeing less of a selection on the two bookings I have my eye on. However, I believe for the cancelled cruises they are allowing people to rebook into the first half of 2022. My wife says if we can’t get on a cruise before the end of 2020 then she just wants to take the refund. I looked at the same cruise and same rooms and the price for the same time in 2021 (cruises not up year for end of May 2022 ... or at least I didn’t look at them) are about 20% higher then wha
  9. We are currently in two extended balconies on the the Miracle at the end of May. IF (and only if) the cruise is cancelled I have been eyeing the Mexican Rivera on the Panorama the second week in October. I fear my "IF" is inevitable, but I want the Miracle to know I held out for her.
  10. The first thing I am going to do on our upcoming Alaskan cruise is request the dividers be opened between our two extended balconies at guest services so our balcony viewing will be optimized. From there I plan on going straight up and ordering a "Frog" Island Iced Tea. Oh I cannot wait!!!
  11. Yesterday was a day at sea and they ran from 10:00am-5:00pm and 6pm-1:00am (yes still have to pay for the late night 10:00pm- 1:00am). Today we are in port and it will run 8:00am to 4:30pm and again 6:00pm to 1:00am. Both lunch and dinner are listed as activities for children today. Yesterday while at sea they did not do lunch (and I did not ask about dinner). Hope this helps
  12. on board the Inspiration right now. The food on lido is has crew seeing. Including the the ice cream and desert stations. Was asked multiple times by crew to use hand sanitizer and there are a whole lot more stations for hand sanitizer. Took longer then usual to get into the MDR, but it is a good change to insure health and safety. The buffet is definitely different, but I am happy with the efforts Carnival is taking for our safety.
  13. Thank you for posting! Anything you have we want to see so thank you, thank you... thank you
  14. Be sure to save your confirmation with a description of the package. We purchased the “all photo and digital package in April 2018 for our Oct 2018 cruise. It was only on for a very short time. Needless to say, I had to use both my confirmation and print out of the package to get them to honor it. If it is phased out you may also need the same proof to get what you are expecting.
