spideygirl Posted September 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2014 About to book my next cruise today. The aft balcony is £100 more than C deck large balcony. Is it worth £100 more? Or should i just stick to the C deck? :)
hbux Posted September 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2014 I've heard that there are pillars on the aft balconies which can get in the way? Might be best to google it as there's loads of advice and pictures that people have taken. We've gone for a C deck balcony 😊 Sent from my iPhone using Forums

dgs1956 Posted September 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Someone has just recently done a thread on Aft Deck. http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2082579 On it is a link for an absolutely excellent blog from TOM UK where he gives you an in depth review of these cabins including exactly where the stanchions are. Aloonie Posted September 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Aft cabins very private. No footfall outside. Aft all the way for me. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
NauticalMiss Posted September 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Haven't stayed on C Deck, but have stayed on D Deck. Didn't like the tiered decks but loved the ship. Have booked an aft cabin for next cruise. I found Tom_UK's blog very useful, and it guided us with cabin number selection. Aft cabin for us :D
Lovemychoos Posted September 5, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 5, 2014 IMHO 'C' deck balconies on Azura are brilliant - half shade, half full sun, absolutely the best of both worlds. Twice the size of the regular balconies so they would definitely get my vote. Even though I love aft balconies, its the extra space on 'C' deck that would make me choose them on Azura. kersh Posted September 5, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Another vote for C deck on Azura. Would go for aft on Arcadia but c deck on Azura are the best.
wilson2579 Posted September 5, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 5, 2014 I have just booked AFT C753 on Ventura for next year. No obstruction on ours but there are pillars in some. We didn't pay any more as these cabins are graded the same as all aft or forward balconies. Really looking forward to it.

Antmadmanda Posted September 10, 2014 #13 Share Posted September 10, 2014 Having been on B deck this year, I'm not sure I would want to be on C deck! We were treated to the, not very pretty, sight of a young couple in their bath robes one afternoon. Let me just say he certainly let it all hang out! I don't think they were aware of just how much we could see while he had one leg up on the rail! 😱 Sent from my iPad using Forums
