mydreamvacation Posted September 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2014 Sailing the Getaway in Dec and can book my entertainment and dining now. I want to see the fireworks and not have a conflict. Anyone know date and time?
rochelle_s Posted September 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2014 Just off the Getaway-- the fireworks are held the night of St Maarten (Tuesday). They were scheduled for 10:45 pm. Rochelle
smilz Posted September 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Is it true that you can see the fireworks from the port balconies?
dalgirl Posted September 22, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2014 Fireworks can be seen from the port balconies. Also: Don't go up with the masses to the 15th and 16th decks - very crowded. We walked out to the Waterfront port side on deck 8. There were only a few people there as we waited for the show. Someone came out and actually commented on how much better deck 8 was - according to them it was a zoo on the upper decks. The fireworks were wonderful from this deck, no mad frenzy for seats or position. We very peacefully went back inside to enjoy our night. So big inside scoop - view the fireworks from the Waterfront port side deck 8;)
